Sisley Le Phyto Rouge

We are nearing the end of October, and whether you are in the mood for Fall or already in the Holiday spirit, you can surely make room for more lipsticks.  It is not everyday that Sisley comes up with new makeup, and with such luxurious packaging and coming from a brand that is esteemed in skincare, the new Sisley Le Phyto Rouge is certainly worth checking out!

The new Sisley Le Phyto Rouge is the perfect marriage between lip pampering and makeup.  Formulated with Sisley’s unique Hydrobooster Complex, it brings together hyaluronic acid and konjac glucomannans that help draw moisture from the surface of the dermis and plump up lips’ water content.  A cocktail of camellia and jojoba oils nourishes and softens lips to keep them feeling comfortable and healthy day after day.  A special extract of padina pavonica further boosts the natural ability to synthesize hyaluronic acid so that lips get healthier over time.

The lipsticks come clad in luxurious red velvet sleeves, and the golden tubes are decorated with black zebra stripes and snaps shut magnetically.  They twist up to reveal a bevelled bullet with the brand engraved on the side.  They glide on creamy with just the right amount of slip without tugging nor melting, and coats the lips in beautiful saturated colour with a soft satin finish.  There are 20 shades in 4 colour families – beige, pink, orange and red.  I have 4 from each of the families, and here are the lip swatches.
