Drape the Lips in Rouge Bunny Rouge Tinted Luxe Balm
The holiday season is upon us, and whether you are donning heavier party makeup or packing up your travel suitcases, chances are you will need something to nourish those lips. Mine have been feeling extra parched lately, and regardless of the copious amounts of lip masks and scrubs I’ve been religiously using, I find it necessary to switch out of my usual lipsticks during the daytimes into something more comfortable. My favourite alternative at the moment is the new Rouge Bunny Rouge Tinted Luxe Balm!
Rouge Bunny Rouge Tinted Luxe Balm Enchanting Blooms is a new collection of lip product that provides uncompromising colour and coverage whilst nourishing the lips. It is formulated with an Ecocert-approved, patented active complex derived from natural Sunflower oil to intensely hydrate and soften the lips. Though labelled as a balm, it feels more like a semi-sheer glossy lipstick. A unique blend of oils and waxes give the Tinted Luxe Balm a rich creamy texture; whilst state-of-the-art pigments suspended in the mix provides true-to-life colour saturation without any heaviness on the lips.

All 6 shades have a semi-sheer opacity, and the colours range from neutrals to pops of colours.
- Playful Primrose – medium pink with a reddened base
- Amazing Anemones – medium coral red
- Lovely Lilacs – medium berry pink

On the lips, the colours build up in intensity and I was able to achieve a fairly good medium coverage with 2 or more swipes.
When left on its own, the Rouge Bunny Rouge Tinted Luxe Balm stays on for about 4 hours before fading off gently, and the balmy nourishment is fully absorbed. It does come off with eating and drinking, so I do reapply very often. The tip of the bullet has a novel concave shape that I was initially skeptical about, but was surprised to find that it hugs the curvature of the lips perfectly and I was able to apply evenly across the entire lip surface with a single swipe! The pointed tip allows access to the corners of the lips as well as the cupid’s bow, and does not smudge beyond.
