Discover Rouge Bunny Rouge’s latest Matte Quintet… Luna Raw Garden Eyeshadow Palette
I’m not a usually a big fan of matte eyeshadows, but when it comes to Rouge Bunny Rouge, I know I won’t be disappointed. And the new Luna Raw Garden Eyeshadow Palette was refreshing in its ethereal lightness, the entirety was a beauty to behold.
Rouge Bunny Rouge has taken 5 of their best-selling Long-lasting Matt Eye Shadows and put them into a beautiful sleek limited edition palette. Each of the shades are full-sized and typically retail for $17 each refill, so at $59 for 5 shades including the 5-colour shadow keeper, Luna is a really good deal!
Inspired by the crescent moon, Luna exudes cool ethereal lightness. The shades are swatched according to their placement on the palette. From left to right, they are:
- Papyrus Canary – pale creamy beige devoid of chalkiness, lovely as a subtle highlighter
- Bashful Flamingo – pale pink that has a slight warm undertone, great as a brightening base
- Sweet Dust Seriema – light-medium mauve with a cool undertone, one of my favorite all-over color
- Chestnut-napped Apalis – medium cool taupe, another beautiful and elegant all-over color
- Blackpepper Jay – smoky blackened brown that is neutral-toned, really beautiful yet soft, perfect for accentuating the eyes without overdoing the drama for day wear
All of the shades are silky smooth and nicely pigmented so that they are easy to apply and wear on a daily basis. These are fuss-free colors that flatter any skin tone, and the formula is extremely forgiving for more matured eyes.
