Estee Lauder New Dimension Firm + Fill Eye System, and Tighten + Tone Neck/Chest Treatment
Estee Lauder New Dimension is a relatively niche collection within the Estee Lauder family that addresses a specific set of aesthetics needs without resorting to surgery. Using a unique set of cutting edge technology, New Dimension seeks to fulfil every woman’s dream of firmer, more lifted and better sculpted facial shape. Building upon last year’s debut capsule collection [reviewed here and here], Estee Lauder has now added a couple of thoughtful skincare items for the eyes and neck!
My eyes have always been a concern for me, and for almost 2 decades now (I started very young!) I have been obsessed with finding the perfect eye cream to eradicate those early wrinkles. Through diligence and possibly genetics, I have avoided those dreaded deep furrows; but from early bad habits (squinting and rubbing my eyes) to late nights and constant use of computers/mobile devices, there is a noticeably growing web of fine lines under my eyes. And even though good eye creams help to delay the progression, once wrinkles set in, there is simply no way to resolve them apart from procedures done by a medical professional.
Estee Lauder New Dimension Firm + Fill Eye System is a very practical approach towards erasing those fine lines without resorting to medical procedures. It comprises of 2 creams – the 1st is a gel-like cream that works like any other eye cream to moisturise, soften, and firms the eye area; whilst the 2nd is a balm that fills in fine lines and lightens the appearance of dark circles. Unfortunately I do not have the full ingredient list, but based on their press information, the Firm + Fill Eye System contains Date seed extract and Whey Protein which are good anti-oxidants and prevent degeneration of cells. Rice Extract is known to keep wrinkles at bay, whilst plant stem-cell extract, a pro-collagen complex and algae extract plump and firm up the skin, and help to boost skin elasticity.

The best way to think about the 2nd step of this Estee Lauder New Dimension Firm + Fill Eye System is like a line-filling primer. As you can see from the before and after comparison shots above, there are a series of very fine webbed lines under my eyes, which are literally erased after using Step 2! If you click on the image to enlarge and zoom, you will be able to still see faint signs of the lines so it is definitely not photoshopped, but the effect of Step 2 is to blur them out and fill them in so it appears smoothened. The effect is not permanent of course, but far better than any concealer or eye cream that I have ever tried to date! Estee Lauder recommends applying Step 1 as you would any eye cream, i.e. together with your skincare; and Step 2 should be applied after your foundation. The amazing thing is, this brightens up my under eye so well that I consider this in place of my concealer. You could of course use this under your foundation, just be careful to gently pat the foundation on top to prevent pulling the product away from where they are needed!
Lately I have been on the prowl for effective neck creams to soften the appearance of some severe lines that have developed on my neck, and to prevent further damage. In addition, I have started to notice some sagging around my jowl, and am also layering on those v-shape firming serums. Too much too do!! And now with Estee Lauder New Dimension Tighten + Tone Neck/Chest Treatment I can combine the 2, and have actually experienced even better results! The soft gel-cream glides on my neck and décolleté beautifully, and then using the rounded disc-shaped massager, it all absorbs instantly to leave my neck feeling softer less wrinkled and my jowl firmer! What is even more amazing is that it seems to make my neck fairer over time, and I have started to notice the shade difference between my face and neck growing less distinct.

To be honest, I was very skeptical when I first started using these, and in fact had procrastinated on starting my own trials. But ever since I started using these, I can say the Tighten + Tone Neck/Chest Treatment is the best that I’ve tried so far; and the Firm + Fill Eye System gives really impressive visible results instantly.
