All that glitters

Have i mentioned i’ve been maniacal about nail polishes lately?!  It comes a point in every (or maybe just mine) pregnancy, when your body goes cowabunga and you have no idea how to shop for your body type anymore… and the hormones make your skin super sensitive (although the increase in blood literally gives you a GLOW!!)… that you turn to dressing up your NAILS!!

Yup, ever since i stumbled upon Luxola and discovered all these amazing variety of brands and shades at my fingertips (literally!), i’ve been simply obsessed!  In particular, i’m completely and utterly smitten by all that glittery and sparkly stuff!!

This is not my usual style, but i loved how cheery these Deborah Lippmann multi-colored glitter looked against the Model’s Own metallic blue!  Aptly named Happy Birthday and Indian Ocean respectively, one looked literally like confetti at a party; whilst Indian Ocean is reminiscent of a tranquil seaside.  Happy thoughts!

This is actually an old polish from the Christmas of 2010.  I had purchased this in anticipation of my wedding in June 2011… but at the last minute I went with a gold sparkly Gelish polish as insurance against chipping!  Regardless, this has always been a favorite (never mind it’s from boring ole OPI).  I recently wore this to a yellow-themed church wedding, and it felt like royalty!  Bring on the Bling indeed!

Just saw this post by Butter London, and i so can’t wait for my shipment to arrive (anytime now!)!!  Base – Wallis; curved line – Tramp Stamp; and bottom half-moon – West End Wonderland!
