Starting the weekend right with SUQQU Refined Flow Stretch Mask

November 23, 2013

Aaahhhh….. weekend again!  I’ve just had the rare date night with el hubs, and cried buckets watching The Hunger Games:Catching Fire…. Now it’s time to put my legs up, light up one of my To Be Calm candles, and lie back with a mug of aromatic de-stress tea from Mariage Frères (did you know Robinsons Orchard stock them now?!).  Mmmm………..

relaxing weekend

And while I’m at it, why not slap on a pampering mask?  And not just any mask too… no that won’t do…  on a night like this, I need the killer of all masks!

SUQQU Stretch mask

This SUQQU Refined Flow Stretch Mask makes me look like Hannibal Lecter, but since el hubs is immune to my scariness, there is nobody else but you.  And you should be scared, not least of all, by the price!  At approximately SGD24 per piece, this is certainly a luxurious drop.

What makes the SUQQU Refined Flow Stretch Mask unique, is the seaming that enables this mask to open up into a sort of 3D open bag (instead of a flat sheet like most other paper masks), allowing it to wrap snugly around your facial contours.  If you look closely at the photo above, you can make out the seam that runs down the center of the mask from forehead, through the nosebridge and down to the chin.  There are also folds from the center of the eye down the cheekbone to the jaw.  The mask also extends all the way down the neck to deliver equal measures of goodness!  As they say, you can tell the age of a woman from her neck!

The SUQQU Refined Flow Stretch Mask is designed to be an intensive skin-tightening and anti-ageing treatment, inspired by SUQQU’s signature Gankin massage technique.  It tightens the skin and sharpens the facial contours, and counteracts sagging skin with active HA-C complex, yeast, and honeysuckle extract.  Additionally infused with Niacinamide and Lactic Bacterium Whey extract, it improves skin discoloration and repair dullness from deep within the skin.  The mask is made of high quality paper, which feels similar to the SK-II Facial Treatment Mask.  The amount of serum on it is just right, doesn’t leave a drippy mess as I’m trying to bliss out.

I wish I can tell you assertively that my skin was smooth like my baby’s bum or there was heavenly radiance emanating from within after using this mask, but at this point, I’m already drooling into my mask.  For sure, my skin feels plumper, tauter, and infinitely pampered.  It’s that spa-ed out feeling after a session of body wrap, except for the face.  And now, let’s dream happy thoughts.

xoxo
