I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s introduction [here] to RMK’s Spring 2017 Color Change Collection. It’s really an interesting spin on girlie pinks and granny browns, juxtaposing the two for very avant garde yet wearable modern effects! Continuing on my coverage of the 30-piece collection, today I’d like to introduce you to their fabulous lip and nail offerings!
I’ve always been averse to wearing brown lipsticks as I tend to associate them with old ladies. However, I have been forced to re-evaluate brown lipsticks with these RMK Face Pop Lips.
There are 4 shades to choose from, which are all incredibly smooth and contain some element of shine / shimmer. They are semi-translucent though buildable, and a really lovely way to experiment with brown lips! All the shades from 01 – 03 are rather nude-ish, and shade 04 is a bit more reddish; regardless, I find all really easy to wear for daily use. You can see shade 04 in action here.
I’m sure by now you would have figured out the yin-yang pattern of this collection, and the perfect counterpoint to the lustrous brown Face Pop Lip set is of course some pink RMK Face Pop Matte Lips!
There are 3 of these matte lipsticks to choose from, and these are fully opaque though still comfortable on the lips. They last about 5-6 hours on me without eating or drinking, and don’t leave my lips parched at the end of the day. However, they do tend to cling on the lips, and I prefer using them over a layer of balm.
The epitomy of a comprehensive lip collection comes in the form of these RMK Face Pop W Stick Gloss. They are dual-ended glosses, with a brown-toned gloss on 1 end, and a pink-toned on the other. The clear glass packaging makes it easy to tell the shade within, and the applicator is a narrow flattened plastic spatula that I find much more hygienic and easy to apply than the traditional sponge-tipped ones.
There are 4 color combinations to choose from, spread across a range of color intensity and brightness. Choose from almost translucent shimmery toppers such as 01, or bright poppy pink in 04. I love the opacity in 03, and the milky pink is very pretty on the lips!
To round up the collection, RMK has released 6 limited edition Nail Color in hues of pink and brown too. I am really starting to love RMK’s Nail Color formula, especially the creams, because they are so easy to apply, easily opaque in 1-2 coats, and lasts well too!
RMK Nail Color EX65 is a light pink with a pearlescent finish.
RMK Nail Color EX66 is a coral pink with some slight sheerness to it that looks juicy and cool.
RMK Nail Color EX67 is a glorious fuchsia pink with a fully opaque cream finish. LOVE this shade!
RMK Nail Color EX68 is a medium nude brown with a slightly cool-tone that looks effortlessly elegant.
RMK Nail Color EX69 is a medium beige with a somewhat yellow-tone due to hidden golden micro-shimmers. Beautiful nude!
RMK Nail Color EX70 is a pale pink-beige with lovely micro-shimmers to give the shade a slight pearlescent complexity under sunlight. One of the easiest, streak-free polish in such a light shade I have ever encountered!
I am surprised to find myself loving the brown RMK Face Pop Lips, and they have completely changed the way I look at brown lipsticks. The 6 limited edition Nail Colors are also all gorgeous, and I love this formula so much I highly recommend you pick them up!
Before I leave, I’d like to share another makeup look here with you…
This is a rather different look for me… clean and fresh, featuring RMK Face Pop Eyes 01 which is the sheerest of the lot, Face Pop Creamy Cheeks 01 layered heavily on the apples for that dewy look, Powder Cheeks 01 along the cheek bones swept up to the hairline to softly define, and Face Pop W Stick Gloss 03 (pink) all over lips & 04 (brown) on the center for a pop.
Be sure to pop over here to check out the rest of the collection! Let me know if anything caught your eye!

Love everything here, the collection seems to be so nicely arranged. I think it will be perfect for spring 17!
Thanks for sharing!

Well of course I love the fuchsia lipstick and nail polish the best– so predictable. I have been wearing loads of browny reds this season. But today broke out a pink. Timing is right for this collection.
Yes, I had in mind our exchange on that other spring collection when I wrote this of course 😉 I agree, nothing more apt than spring for an all pink and easy brown collection!
I love RMK glosses so I’m quite excited about the new Face Pop W Stick Glosses! Especially 02 and 04 look like my kind of colors. Thank you for the gorgeous overview of this collection, my heart skipped a beat when I saw the glorious flat lay you did featuring all the products!! Stunning Linda!! Your blog is so cool and professional, among the best <3

You are such a sweetheart, Laura! Thank you for your love and support! You know I’m a fan of what you do too. I’m not much of a gloss girl myself, but I really like RMK’s packaging and their formula!
