NARS Extreme Effects Eyeshadow Palette

Hello!  2021 has really taken off at a sprint, I’ve been submerged in work but thought I would pop up for a few moments to show you an eyeshadow palette I have been enjoying lately.  The NARS Extreme Effects Eyeshadow Palette is a limited edition offering that was recently released, featuring a mixture of shimmer & matte shades suited for a range of occasions.

NARS Extreme Effects Eyeshadow Palette contains 12 shades, and is mainly warm-toned, with a good mix of brown-purple tones and some reds thrown in for punch.  Here are the row-by-row swatches.

• Endowed – pale peach shimmer with a semi-translucent base.  This shade shows up well, but fades fairly quickly as well.
• Roleplay – light peachy brown with a matte finish
• Take Control – medium dark reddish brown with a matte finish
• Private Eye – dark plum with a satin finish.  This shade is a little dry and sheers out when swatched with a finger, but picks up well with a brush.

• Pulsing – medium metallic bronze with bright golden shimmer
• Full Potential – medium warm plum red with a matte finish
• Blow – light salmon with a matte finish
• Tantric – light peach-copper with a bright shimmer

• All The Way – bright persimmon red with scattered golden shimmers
• Code Red – dark bronze with purple and champagne shimmers
• Staredown – medium plum with an electric purple shift
• Uncensored Black – matte black base with a scatter of purple and silver shimmers.  This shade is drier and less intense than the other shades, and I also experienced difficulty blending it properly with a brush.  Fades easily as well.

Overall, NARS Extreme Effects Eyeshadow Palette is a versatile palette with shades that are easy to wear and brightens up the visage considerably.  The quality is generally top notch, and a steal at USD29 currently here.
