NARS Bronze Voyage Collection: Au Soleil Face Set & Sur La Plage Lip Balm Set
All these months of working from home has turned me pasty which is not a nice look for me. Perhaps because I hadn’t been wearing much makeup (for lack of occasion), I was really excited to see the new NARS Bronze Voyage Collection. My personal picks from this NARS Bronze Voyage collection are the Au Soleil Face Set and Sur La Plage Lip Balm Set.
The NARS Bronze Voyage Collection inspires sunkissed looks of sculpted cheeks, glittering eyes, and mlbb lips. I’m really vibing the face palettes, especially the ones in Au Soleil Face Set, and I can see these classic bronze-copper-gold tones being worn through to the coming holiday season. Here is another angled shot that captures the metallic shimmers in the eyeshadows.
Au Soleil is a mid-sized palette that still manages to fit in most makeup pouches, so it is good to travel with. It also comes with a mini Climax Mascara which is my favourite mascara from NARS. Here are the swatches for your reference:
The bronzer included in Au Soleil is a warm burnished brown with a satin finish. It has medium intensity (for a bronzer) which is easy to work with. I’m also pleased to see that it does not pull orange on my Asian skin tone.
The other item from the Bronze Voyage Collection that I highly recommend is this Sur La Plage Lip Balm Set. These tinted lip balms keep my lips hydrated when I am working from home, and gives a soft hint of color that looks like I am still making an effort. The 3 shades are as swatched below:
