The Marc Jacobs Beauty collection offers 12 delicious shades of lip glosses under the Marc Jacobs Beauty Lust for Lacquer Lip Vinyl range. These are described as “effervescent and plumping with ultimate shine”. They come in both opaque and sheer formulations.
The lip vinyls are packaged in a flat-ish tube, with a slightly bigger-than-usual wand top that feels comfortable in my hands and yields better control. The applicator itself is straight and slightly indented in the middle (Marc Jacobs calls it “pillowed”), not the usual angled doe-foot, but has some flex to it and hugs the curve of my lip well.
Kissibility (302) is described as a shimmering lilac pink, and appears somewhat dusty rose / mauve to me. It applies sheer, with flecks of gold shimmer and an amazingly glossy finish. Once applied, it leaves a refreshing minty feel on my lips that lasts for a good 30 minutes. It almost feels icy cold in an air-conditioned room, and is the perfect perk-me-up on a hot afternoon.
Marc Jacobs Beauty Lust for Lacquer Lip Vinyl in Kissibility (302) is non-sticky, and lasts about 2 hours on my lips before fading. The formula is infused with champagne grape for antioxidants and other essential oils to pamper the lips. I enjoyed it quite a bit, but for the price, I wished it had greater staying power.

Hi Linda,
I am so excited to see your Marc Jacob beauty haul! This lip gloss shade is so pretty! May I know if their product infused with strong scent?
Hi Meryl! Hmm… i’ve read some reviews saying the lip vinyl has a vanilla sent, but personally, i didn’t detect much. If anything, it goes away immediately, cos the minty sensation on the lips is much more intense!
Amazing colour!! 🙂
that color looks so pretty!
it is!! 😉
