Beauty you’re It! IT Cosmetics has earned a cult-like following in the US over the past few years; and with the aim of helping women with rosacea and other skin problems achieve beautiful, healthy skin… IT Cosmetics seems like the perfect soulmate for me. When I heard that IT Cosmetics will be launching at Sephora internationally, I knew this brand was going to fly, and if you hadn’t already picked some up for yourself, here is a quick run-down of some of their top sellers!
IT Cosmetics has grown tremendously since it first launched on QVC 2010, and the product offering has expanded way beyond the infamous Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer and CC+ Cream. Today, as an entry to the brand, I’d like to take you through some of their best sellers.
Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream
IT Cosmetics first released this Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream before CC Creams were a thing in the mass market, and so from that perspective it was a market mover. The hunt for the perfect balance between coverage and skincare is a challenging one for those with sensitive skin, and particularly for rosacea sufferers. IT Cosmetics’ CC+ Cream offers a good level of buildable coverage sufficient to offset any redness in the skin; contains high SPF50 sun protection and a bunch of skin-loving ingredients (including snail secretion filtrate that I’ve so far only seen in Korean skincare, and was only made popular after 2013) to protect and pamper.
There are 5 shades available which covers a broad range in my opinion, although the difference in undertones and big jump between intensities may be problematic. The shade Light works well for my roughly NC20-25 skin tone. As you may be able to tell, the texture is rather thick and creamy, unlike the current trending super thin fluid foundations. I prefer blending this out with a sponge, with the result of a natural skin-like finish. On my dry skin, IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream lasts me through most of the day with minimal fading, and does not crease up nor make my skin feel drier as the day progresses.
Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer
The product that launched IT Cosmetics to fame… this nifty tube of concealer is as full coverage as its name says, and a tiny tiny bit is really all you need. More than just a concealer, Bye Bye Undereye also contains anti-aging ingredients such as Niacinamide, Hydrolyzed Collagen and Retinyl Palmitate to improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles over time.
There are only 4 shades available, and as you can see, the shades do not correspond with the CC+ Cream. My closest match is the Medium shade, which is unfortunately a little too yellow and a tad ashy on me. The texture of these (which you can’t really tell from the swatches above) is a thick paste, neither creamy nor fluid, and I have a bit of trouble working with them. I take a tiny dot and warm it up between my ring fingers, dab them to my undereye, and then use a sponge to blend out… which works fine but is a little too much work for me in my rushed mornings. As my undereye is rather dry and prone to lines, the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Concealer does crease as the day progresses. The good news is that it absolutely does not budge nor fades even at the end of a long day.
Bye Bye Pores Silk HD Anti-Aging Micro Powder & Pressed Powder
The ability to magically erase pores is a quest towards holy grail, and IT Cosmetics had me at the words Silk – HD – Anti-aging – Micro. This is a loose powder in a convenient 6.8gm size complete with plush cushion puff, and is only available in the shade translucent which goes on imperceptibly when dusted on very lightly. I love that it is free from talc and other nasties; and also contains hydrolyzed silk, niacinamide and other skin-loving ingredients. The powder gives my skin a very smooth porcelain finish, and keeps my t-zone matte all day long.
Just in case you still need a touch up though, IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores is also available in a pressed compact version which actually contains 9.0gm of product. There is nice dense sponge applicator embedded in the lower deck of the compact and a generous mirror on the top. This powder feels rather hard on the surface though, and I couldn’t seem to pick up very well with either the sponge or my own squirrel-haired powder brush.
Brow Power
Interestingly, IT Cosmetics’ Brow Power landed in my hands around the same time as several other branded brow products, and blew the competition out of the water. This nifty little thing comes dual-ended, a retractable swivel pencil on 1 end, and a soft spoolie on the other. The pencil end reminds me of Cle de Peau’s, and is small enough to easily navigate for those with thinner brows like me. It is only available in an “Universal” shade, which is kind of a medium-deep ash-brown which is perfect for me although I can imagine it wouldn’t suit those with other hair color / skin tones.
SuperHero Mascara
Lots of mascaras claim to volumnize, lengthen and rebuild/strengthen your natural lashes; but few actually are able to do it. IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara surprised me by its ability to both thicken my wimpy lashes and lengthen them! I love how incredibly inky black it is, and with just 1 easy sweep my lashes become instantly visible and fuller. The brush wand is easy to use even on short Asian lashes, and the best part is the mascara does not smudge at all!
Confidence in a Cream
If you have heard Jamie Kern’s story about how she has been battling with rosacea all her life, you’d understand the introduction of this moisturising cream in the midst of a makeup collection. IT Cosmetics Confidence In A Cream took 7 years to perfect alongside plastic surgeons, and is packed with ingredients to soften the skin, hydrate, and soothe. It claims to be suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive; and work on restoring radiance, reducing pores and evening out skin tone and texture. The texture is a fairly dense cream, although it has a nice silky texture so it does not feel too heavy on the skin. However, there are quite a bit of silicons in here, which aids makeup application afterwards, but I’m generally not a fan of silicons in my skincare, and so I have yet to really put this one to the test.
Your Most Beautiful You Face Palette & Heavenly Luxe Brushes
Finally, we move onto some color makeup! I have yet to explore the newer line additions fully, but this Your Most Beautiful You Face Palette caught my eye as it contains a lovely warm blush, beautiful highlighter and a flattering contour shade. I also love the cute uplifting reminders embossed on the surface of the palette! Here are the swatches for your reference:
I also wanted to quickly mention IT Cosmetics’ wonderful range of cruelty-free brushes. These really feel super luxe on the skin – soft, plush, and well-cut to enable easy makeup application!
As all of these products have been heavily reviewed by other bloggers before me, I’ve tried to hit all the essential points without belabouring them too much. If there is anything that intrigues you, and you’d like to know more, please feel free to leave me a comment below! I’d also love to hear if you have tried any IT Cosmetics products, and what are your thoughts! IT Cosmetics is now available at Sephora Singapore, feel free to check them out in person at their stores or online!

I buy a lot of makeup brushes, unfortunately. And I have to say the IT Cosmetics brushes are really some of the best I have. I use them everyday!
I’m eager to see here and try some of your selection Linda !!! Kisses

I bought the CC cream and the pressed powder. The powder is quite impressive! For the CC cream, I was debating between Fair and Light and I’m glad I chose Fair. Light is closer to NC25 I think, and it made my skin look dull. I bought Fair online, and chose Light as a sample. I’m glad I did that 🙂
I saw some really nice plush brushes on It Cosmetics’ online site. Hope they’ll (Sephora) bring all the brushes in!
IT Cosmetics makes some of my favorite products – I absolutely love their CC cream and their Superhero mascara. I am currently trying their Bye Bye Pores primer and am really enjoying it so far!

Beautiful and detailed breakdown. I have the Bye Bye Undereye and love it. Just the other day, I bought the foundation, but have yet to try it out. Lovely post as always Linda ❤️
I bought the illuminating version of the under eye concealer. I set it immediately after putting it on. It last the whole day without creasing and settling into my fine lines. Love it so much; a tiny but is all you need. Another must have is the ombré bronzer, am on my second pan. Gives the most natural Tan ever. Best I have ever tried.
