Fresh Combines Beauty & Luxury in its latest Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner

It is always nice to receive gift boxes from Fresh, because the packaging is always done tastefully… and still having seen it before, I swooned a little when I unravelled the recent drop.  I’m not your typical girlie-girl who squeals over everything rose, but I really enjoy it in my skincare.  And when I saw actual rose petals floating languidly in the bottle, I fell in love right away with the new Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner!

Fresh extends its Rose Hydrating Skincare line this season with a new Deep Hydration Facial Toner, which not only softens the skin, but also plumps it up and minimizes the appearance of pores.  With lots of travel of late, and the scorching summer sunshine, I have really been relishing non-cream products that soothe my skin, provides a burst of hydration while still maintaining a feather-light weight texture.

Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner is infused with real rose petals and smells absolutely divine.  It is slightly more viscous than most other water-based toners, but it feels super refreshing when swept onto the skin with a cotton pad and is immediately absorbed leaving no stickiness behind.

In addition to the usual suspects of rose water and glycerine, Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner contains rose fruit extract which is obtained from the dried matured fruit of the Japanese rose.  The latter has toning properties and helps to refine pores for a smoother and more even complexion.  The inclusion of rose flower oil, angelica leaf extract, and hyaluronic acid all help to nourish and hydrate the skin, boosting the ability to retain moisture.  I like that it does not contain any alcohol which is often found in toners.

I have used this Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner alternately in the evenings with another exfoliating toner for the past couple of months.  At first sweep, I was a little caught off-guard by a slight tingling sensation, even though I had no redness or noticeable sensitive spots.  Even with repeated uses, I realized the tingling does not irritate my skin at all, but is the pore-tightening astringent effect.  When used after a long stressful flight, it revitalizes and refreshes my skin, and I would wake up to noticeably plumper and brighter skin the next day.  I must mention that this smells very strongly of roses, as expected, but in a beautiful modern way which makes the entire experience all the more luxurious.  The scent lingers for about a minute and then dissipates.  And I love giving the bottle a swirl just to watch the dance of the rose petals each time I use it.  Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner is out in stores now, feel free to go take a whiff!
