Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv Ultimate Diamond Revitalizing Mask Noir is more than just a facial mask, it is a ritual designed to pamper and soothe.  It begins with an invigorating dry brush massage using the lush golden kabuki brush contained in the set.  This helps to re-energize the skin and prepare it for the nourishing treatment mask soon to follow.  As a self-confessed brush snob, I was extremely surprised when the brush exceeded all my expectations and more!  This must be the softest, and most densely packed kabuki brush I have ever had the pleasure of using, it even puts some of my squirrel-haired brushes to shame.  See how incredibly fine and evenly bundled the hairs are!

What follows is the most exquisite black-colored mask with a gel-like texture.  Finely powdered bamboo charcoal gives this mask its signature black color, and is used to minimise the appearance of pores and eliminate toxins buried deep in the skin.  However, what truly sets this mask apart, is the use of Black Diamond Truffle Extract.  Each drop of this is the result of 10,000 hours’ of work, and only a very limited quantity of this may be produced each year.

Apply a thin layer and let it saturate the skin for about 5 minutes (it is so precious I actually leave it on for much longer).  The mask dries slightly in that time, but remains tactile on the skin.  With wet fingers, I then gently massage in circular motions, avoiding the eye area.  Tiny beads of Jojoba esters provide a gentle exfoliating action to reveal fresh, bright complexion.  The mask also contains finely ground 24k gold and South Sea Pearl to leave skin looking luminous and radiant.
