I have always thought the term “millennial” referred to the teenagers who were born in the early 2000’s, but only just found out the “official” definition starts from the late ’70s or ’80s. Which made me feel younger than I really am, and much more relevant than I had hoped. And no brand speaks stronger to the millennial-lifestyle than Nudestix, with their tag line of #gonudebutbetter. It’s all about effortless makeup – skin-loving colors and fuss-free application, allowing us to get out of the door and on with our lives. This Summer, I’m clearing out my vanity, and keeping things simple with just a handful of products. And here are some recent releases from Nudestix you can consider for your next vacation!

I think I must have squealed out loud one evening, when I saw a big black Chanel gift bag waiting for me, tied exactly the way the boutiques do it. It was a curious thing, because their makeup and fragrances usually come in white paper bags, only the fashion boutiques use the black ones. And inside were 2 drawstring dust bags, a larger one that looked just about the size of a handbag (!!), and a smaller mysterious one. I was completely mystified because I really wasn’t expecting to receive a handbag of course, but my surprise was magnified when I pulled out a blanket! It’s no ordinary blanket of course, and it’s more a throw than a real full-sized blanket, but one with the full Chanel logo embroidered on it… that’s pure luxury! From the smaller dust bag, I uncovered the latest Chanel Cruise 2017 Makeup Collection, and then it all makes sense – it’s time to lounge beside sun-drenched pools, and head out to the resorts!

Spring is in the air!! If there was ever a “spring” collection (read: pastels) that I was looking forward to, it was this Lancome Absolutely Rose Collection for Spring 2017! But of course, you’ve all seen that gorgeous rose highlighter that has been instagrammed to death. Alas, I was not fated to get hold of it despite my best attempts, and I consoled myself with the rest of the collection… which as it turned out, was truly beautiful individually!

Greetings from Germany!! I’m on my first business trip of the year, and it’s going to be a long one… 2 whole weeks up here in Cologne. I was hoping to be able to get this review out sooner, but I had limited time and wanted to shore up some pictures so I can continue working on more posts while I’m away from home. Thank you for reading and commenting on the past 2 posts on this Chanel Coco Codes Collection, I loved hearing your thoughts on the pieces, it is this interaction that keeps me grounded. As promised, I have a few more pieces from this Spring / Summer 2017 collection that I’d like to share with you today!

Estee Lauder does not do designer collaborations very often (the last one that comes to mind is the Courrèges Estée Lauder Collection from Summer 2015), and when it chooses to do so, it does it exceedingly well. And this Fall 2016, Estee Lauder has partnered up with the icon of style – Victoria Beckham! It is a succinct and highly curated collection of only 14 items, in a uber luxe packaging that has fans enthralled all over the world. The collection launched in the US and UK 10 days ago, and is mostly soldout within days. Thankfully for us, the collection will be launching here in Singapore and other parts of Asia soon. To help you make up your mind whether to call dips on these covetable pieces, here are the complete swatches of the Victoria Beckham for Estee Lauder Makeup Collection!
