It’s always fun checking out the holiday gift selections from The Body Shop, and this year was definitely an exciting one. Instead of snowflakes and mistletoe, The Body Shop brings us back to where it all came from – the wonderful, glorious natural forests!
Every Christmas, The Body Shop partners with a non-profit organization, and this year it has joined in the Bio-Bridges program that aims to restore 75 million square metres of forest by 2020! In addition to the original project location situated in Vietnam’s Khe Nuoc Trong forest, The Body Shop is extending help to Indonesia’s Batang Toru forest and the Endau Rompin landscape in Malaysia, to protect several endangered animal species such as the Red-shanked Douc, the Sumatran Orangutan and the Malayan tiger.
There are lots to choose from, and here are some of the highlights to pique your interest!

I am rather excited to be able to share this post with you today… When I first started blogging, I wanted to be as broad as possible, introduce as many interesting and new brands as I could, as quickly as I could. But over time, I find my personal tastes getting narrower, and with an ever-burgeoning collection, storage is becoming a real issue. For me, it has never been about wanting to own them all, but to choose the best of them… and sometimes the cutest of them all! And this season, the most adorable award has to go to RMK’s 2016 Christmas Collection that is mysteriously themed “Once Upon a Dream“.

My family has been using Shokubutsu for as long as I can remember now, it is one of those things we just pick up in family-sized bottles whenever we spy an offer at the store. So when Shokubutsu offered to send me their latest RevitaCare Body Foam range, I readily accepted.

Chanel N°5 is one of those famed fragrances that every girl grew up hearing about, and possibly dream of owning some day. In the world of perfumery, Chanel N°5 is significant for departing from the single florals that women used to wear, and has grown to be synonymous with the spirit of liberation that Coco Chanel embodied. The original N°5 is so much more than just a perfume, it is an olfactory heritage that has been passed down through the generations for the past 95 years. As a lover of the brand, N°5 was something I had aspired towards, but could never quite embrace fully… until now.
