Bobbi Brown Cheek Glow Palettes for Spring 2017

January 24, 2017

I’ve been so jetlagged since i got back, it’s not funny at all. This waking up in the middle of the night business has got to stop. When i’m looking droll and lifeless, a pop of color on the cheeks sure helps. I actually got to try some of Bobbi Brown’s cult favorite pot rouge cream blush thanks to Lily some time back, and loved them. So it is no surprise that im finding this season’s new Cheek Glow Palettes equally amazing!

Bobbi Brown Cheek Glow Palettes for Spring 2017

Bobbi Brown Cheek Glow Palettes come in a slim iridescent white compact that houses a Pot Rouge for lips & cheeks alongside a new pearlized Cream Glow Highlighter. There is a generous-sized mirror on the inside if the lid too, and each shade is a good 4.4gm.  I have been living off these for the past month, and even brought them along with me on my recent long trip.  They’re so easy to use – simply swipe on with fingers, and dab to blend.  The Pot Rouge has good level of pigmentation so it shows up easily but also blends out well without leaving harsh lines.  It is particularly forgiving on dry winter skin, and stays on well all day.  The Cream Glow Highlighter brings a lustrous sheen to the skin without any dreaded oily sheen.

Bobbi Brown Cheek Glow Palette - Bare & Desert Rose

There is some shimmer in each of the Cream Glow Highlighters, whilst the Pot Rouge is mostly matte. Regardless, the shimmers are not overly obvious, and they generally blend out easily for a soft, natural glow.  The palette shown above features the Cream Glow Highlighter in Bare which looks intense in the pan but applies as a soft golden sheen on the skin.  At the bottom of the palette is Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks in the shade Desert Rose which is a beautiful medium muted rosewood with a neutral- to warm-tone.

Bobbi Brown Cheek Glow Palette - Pink Opal & Homecoming Pink

One of my favorites has got to be this palette which contains the Cream Glow Highlighter in Pink Opal, which is a soft barely-there pink tint; along with Pot Rouge in Homecoming Pink.  I’m generally not big on pink blushes, but these give a very naturally sweet flush from within look that I love.

Bobbi Brown Cheek Glow Palette - Pearl & Pink Flush

Who am I kidding, I really love all 3 of them!  I know coral pinks are always a crowd favorite, and this one doesnt disappoint!  The Cream Glow Highlighter in Pearl is translucent on the skin, leaving just a hint of translucency.  Pot Rouge in Pink Flush is a warm-toned salmon pink, very pretty indeed!

I am not a “cream blush” kind of gal, but these BB blush duos are so so pretty! Can’t wait to try them once they arrive to Dubai. Thanks for the review!

What lovely cream blush/highlighter palettes! I’ve lost track of how many BB pot rouges I’ve had over the years so I’ll be taking a good look at these. Bobbi certainly knows how to create a beautiful cheek color.

I’ll never understand why Chanel discontinued their cream blushes. They are convenient to use, especially in seasons where you either have to more heavily use moisturizers (winter) or sunscreen (summer) Because you can just add that dab of color without waiting for stuff to be absorbed. Also these products thankfully have a highlighter which will work on fair skin.

Actually, even as big a Chanel fan as I am, I didn’t enjoy their cream blushes. Those just never sat well on my skin, and the pigments pull chalky once I try to blend them out. One actually grew mouldy within a year, and I had to throw it out. I still collect them though, but I don’t miss them.

These are lovely Linda! I laid my paws on desert rose and I am amazed at how nice it feels and how long lasting it is! Eyeing pink opal next :)!

Linda these look amazing 👌, I don’t know why I am surprised it’s Bobbi Brown after all. Beautiful photography as usual one problem I want them all.

  7. Preeeeeetty! Bobbi Brown knows how to do cheek products.

Ah gorgeous! I love my pot rouges and I’m glad you loved those samples too. Pink Flush looks great. Might have to look into these.
